MINERAL MAKEUP, TIPS & TRICKS
Are you tired of caking on that messy liquid foundation? If you find that regular liquid make up is too messy for you, then you may want to consider trying mineral makeup! Mineral make-up comes in powder form, and is used to create a soft, natural foundation and cover up for your face. One great thing about mineral make-up is that it will keep you looking natural while performing the same job as liquid foundation.
Here’s how mineral make-up works: You will wash your face and put on some kind of primer. Primer simply gets your face ready to accept the powder once it is brushed onto your face. Then, you will brush on a base which accurately matches your skin tone. You can also use a bit more of the base powder to cover up pesky blemishes which are caused by acne.
Next, you will use a warming powder. This simply means that it is darker than your original skin tone, and it will help to make your face appear a bit darker. You will apply this warmer the same way you would apply blush, from the cheekbones down to your jaw line. Lastly, you will use some type of covering veil, which will help blend your original two tones together.
Keep in mind that this is just a basic outline of how to apply a simple set of mineral makeup. There are additional tones and colors which can be used to improve your overall look. It is simply a matter of experimenting to find out what you like.
