APPLYING CLOWN MAKEUP TIPS

First of all, you will need a reliable oil based paint. This paint stays longer on the skin and does not easily strip unlike some types of paint. Although you are free to choose which color you want as the base color, most clowns use white. The face and neck is painted with white color. For that cheery clown smile, use a red paint for the job. For the eye makeup you can try applying green, black, yellow or blue paint.
When you are done painting your face, you may have to apply some baby powder with a round makeup brush. But before any makeup or paint is applied, you should wash your face first and be sure that no dirt is left behind. Pull your hair to a ponytail if possible to avoid having hair on wet paint.
